Introduction: WINDOWS 7 DESKTOP MANAGEMENT
In this presentation I will show you how to manage and customize your Windows 7 Desktop. I hope you learn something and enjoy.
Step 1: ICONS
Icons are the little things that appear on your desktop that you click on to start apps. If you look at the photo, that should be a good representation of what they are. If you left click and hold on an icon, you can move it around, if you right click them you can open up an options menu on what you can do with them. You may need to move around these icons if your desktop is getting crowded, or just to customize it to your liking.
Step 2: TASKBAR
The taskbar is the little bar on the bottom of your desktop that shows your icons and windows you have open. By left clicking and dragging icons down to the taskbar, you are able to pin the program or file to the taskbar. This can also be achieved by right clicking an icon and left clicking the option pin to taskbar. The reason you may want to customize your taskbar could be for organizational purposes or just for your own satisfaction.
Step 3: Personalization, Screen Savers, ETC
To personalize your windows desktop you will want to do is right click on an blank part of your desktop and left click the option personalize. After this you can look all throughout the options of preset screen savers, or come up with your own. You may want to customize your screen saver is usually for cosmetic purposes, but there could be some other reason I am unaware of.
Step 4: ENJOY YOUR PERSONALIZED WINDOWS DESKTOP
I hope you have learned something from this guide, leave a comment if you did not and there is something I have left out. THANK YOU!
