Yes that Kydex stuff is probably on the original prop looking at screen shoots.
This is all I have and not sure what the original source is. They can be found on the internet in prop replica forums like the therfp. If you find more please post.
The fusion file is up now.
Finished version is up. Well these things are never finished. Still trying to find a way to weather the decals convincingly and I am making small adjustments to the front.
Hi Jon-a-tron tried to share the updated files as one step submission as you suggested but your colleagues at instructables took it off-line complaining it doesn't have multiple detailed steps, that I haven't build it yet (showing the printed parts was not enough) and I had included images I used people kindly send me as reference (fair enough). I do not have time to commit to a detailed writeup. I think this is not the place to share my stuff.
Unless you have mad skills that is.
I hope you grabbed it. instructables took it off-line complaining it doesn't have multiple detailed steps, that I haven't build it yet (showing the printed parts was not enough) and I had included images I used people kindly send me as reference (fair enough). I do not have time to commit to a detailed writeup as Jon-a tron already did it and he gets paid for it. I think I stick with thingiverse and youmagine to share stuff. Well I tried sharing here.
Yep I got a note that it went through. Glad it worked out as so many were asking for the files. Thanks again for sharing your files and ideas they made this reallyenjoyable. Now I would like finish this project and no it won't be a one day build......
Will certainly post the .step files. The fusion file is too much chaos over 400 sketches different version mirrored etc etc will take some time to clean up. Not as nicely structured as your file I am afraid.
I published a remix of Jons version that is closer to the prop. Some compromises to accommodate the scope. Have not finished building this as I still wait for paint n stuff but many were asking for the update so here it is. Have fun and again thanks to Jon for posting the original files. www.instructables.com/id/Blade-Runner-Optical-View...
You mean more than what is here? www.instructables.com/id/Blade-Runner-Optical-View...Will post the .steps eventually and also the fusion file when I have time to deal with the chaos I created there. But first I will finish this build. I am a recreational maker so this is all free handed. Fusion probably has some kind of function to create what you need?

Will do. Also changed the greeblies on top and the overall dimensions a bit based on photos I got from one of the tested guys. The original idea seems to come from a Thales military range finder binocular (SSARF).
Right now it looks like this:
