I brought the motor and battery's from Electric Bike Solutions the motor is a 48 V system with a twin battery pack I do long rides ICE makes a great bikes when I brought my Ice bike they were the only ones that had the cane helpers and what the bike shop called a chain gobbler that allowed you to adjust for different height people the bike without the electric motor and battery's was around 3600 with motor and battery's about 5500. I do 60+ mile rides using the motor and would never have a bike without a motor ever-again the most practical you can do if you ride a lot ICE recumbent bikes are very comfortable bikes on smooth roads or trails but not that great on ruff roads because I have moved to a small town were the roads are not so great I will be doing one of two things upgrade...

I do 60+ mile rides using the motor and would never have a bike without a motor ever-again the most practical you can do if you ride a lot ICE recumbent bikes are very comfortable bikes on smooth roads or trails but not that great on ruff roads because I have moved to a small town were the roads are not so great I will be doing one of two things upgrade to a Velo Scorpion electric Bike, or I can add the full suspension kit to my ICE bike( I think ICE is still the only bike you can do that kind of up grade too), also its the only bike you can change the rear from 20" rear to a 26" rear if I upgrade my ice bike it will run about another 1200 to 1500 bucks the Scorpion with twin battery's run's a bit over 10.000 with factory twin battery's & motor. If your roads are really bad just get the Velo Scorpion the ICE bike is more versatile but keep what kind of roads you have. My ICE bike is getting old with lots of miles on it the Scorpion is worth the money 10 grand is still a lot of money so that is were I am to-date do I spend 10.000 + or 1500 and rebuild the battery packs in about a year another 500 to 800 bucks A lot of people would think wow 10000 for a bike but I use mine like a car with the trailer I do all my shopping and no gas or insurance
