I have some Coleus plants, which I rescued from getting tossed. I cut some shafts off, placed them in bottles of water and they thrived. They grew nice white roots. I then transferred three of them to "Miracle Grow Garden Soil" with a little fertilizer added in, and the next day they were drooped over. I figured it was just the shock from transplanting them. However, a day later they had all died totally. I had enough water on them, and light. So, why would that happen?Coleus are sopposed to be easy to grow.
I started a Celery plant by floating the cut off in water. It grew fine for about 3 to 4 inches, but did not have roots showing. I placed it in Dirt in a pot, and it simply died then.
