that would probably work for other grains (rice, dry beans, etc.), but it would likely cause popcorn to pop. :)
Great idea! One suggestion -- if you leave popcorn kernels (or various other grains) sitting around for long periods of time weevils may eventually hatch in them. Yuck! You can prevent this by putting the popcorn (or other grain) in the freezer for a few days before storing.
