The Ultimate Drill Improvement Kit
You will have to change pretty much everything. A laptop with need about 70 to 120W at 16-20VDC, depending on a model (that's about 4A).So you will have to change pretty much everything to handle and provide 5A and higher DC voltage at bare minimum. Then, you will have to hook a pretty big battery that will last atleast 20 hours (cause the laptop will last 4 hours on itself I guess?).It's not an easy project.
Yes and no.The device only do DC-DC, so unclean power from the wall will go into the AC/DC power supply BEFORE this device. Since it have been regulated in DC before entering the UPS, it will "clean" the bad wave from the AC...But, typically, device using DC have the exact same setup as this, but without any battery in case of "lost of power".When we are talking about UPS "cleaning" noise from AC, it's because those UPS are doing AC to DC, then DC to AC, doing a full sin wave. In this case, there's no return to AC.
Yes, you will need to connect them directly instant of using the PCB. You can use the PCB and instant of soldering the 7-Sgements on the PCB, you will wire it using a wire solder to the hole. Make sure it's commom annode else the exact same wiring won't work.

I really like it ! I made one out of an old computer PSU, but it only have fixed 3.3V, 5V et 12V output.I always wished I could have something like that calculate the current of a circuit, but I wish to have a little more current, like 10A@12V.What is the OV/OC ? Is this for protection ? Over Voltage and Over Current ?

Use a Relay to switch from 9V to 12V when applying brakes. (You'll have IN-A 9V, IN-B 12V and the IN-B will also activate the Relay). On the "daylight" wire, just add an LM7809 to get 9V Output. You might also want to add a capacitor the the output of the relay to prevent the light from closing / opening everything you apply the brakes.
